As the year comes to an end, the curtains fall and a new act awaits. Who knows what would be in store next year, but one thing is for certain, this year has been hectic, chaotic and downright nonsensical.
This year alone, I’ve drank more, made more friends, came to class semi-sober, spent a bomb, traveled to Tokyo, slept more, gamed more, read more, wrote more, drew more and thought more than any other year.
Major things that happened this year, in chronological order:
- Began year two of my Polytechnic life
- Made some good friends in semester one
- Grew closer to Erika
- Spoke to onee-chan more
- Went for Pre-U seminar
- Met some great people there
- Went to Tokyo
- Bought my new baby
- Semester one class chalet
- Semester Two begins
- Befriended some awesome people
- Some later than others
- Went drinking on a school night, twice (this is so against my morals, but hey, there’s alcohol involved)
- Down in the dumps a bit
- Started hanging out with Erika more
- Had a big fight with her for whatever reason I do not know
- Got an opportunity to write for an animation
- Swore to not drink anymore
- Went drinking after Ness’ birthday celebration (I know, I know…)
- Started several projects to keep me busy
- Now, painting my room. A sign of change for me. And thanks to that one person who actually responded to my request for help. Heh.
All in all, it has been a tumultuous year. Opened my eyes to the multitude of holes I had in certain friendships and watched the seeds of trust I’ve sown in others germinate. Be it oak trees or dandelions, only time will tell.
Several posts back, I gave a toast to my friends.
In this post, I’d like to give a toast to my muses, imaginary and real, for giving me ideas and signaling the time for change.
Thank you all.
