    Oh, this is rich.

I’d ask someone a question and that person directs me to his or her blog.

If I’m not really interested, I wouldn’t have fucking asked in the first place, but no, they just had to direct me to their blog.

If they had no time to summarize, sure, I’ll gladly go look up the blog for info if I’m still interested. But usually, no, I’ll just assume that their life is as exciting as watching a plastic bottle attempting to rot.

Honestly though, for the majority of people I know, the word ‘busy’ in itself contains a vast range of activities, from blankly staring at the screen to attempting to talk on the phone.

    Very strenuous activities indeed.

When I do speak to anyone, it’s either for information or a meaningful conversation, and usually it’s the latter. Directing me to a blog is akin to proclaiming,You’re not good enough to know from me, go look up an alternative source. in Bold, Italics and Underlined for greater emphasis. But at least I’m glad to know these people well enough to not try to know them better, I’d rather waste of my fucking time on watching aforementioned plastic bottle’s futile attempts at rotting.

I shall name said bottle, Steve.

Okay, think I’ve let off enough steam now, gonna get back to work.

Rich and Steam are both used. Well done, I have to admit; Steam is a good source of power – them steam engines push out tons of torque. Now, what we need is a steamroller.

  • Growing up

Just had a video conference with the Monica and her kids, they grow up real quick.

I remember it wasn’t too long ago, they were so very small, learning new things every other day.

Now one’s ten, the other’s five.

I’m really surprised that the older one remembers his ‘Uncle Lou’, it’s been about one and a half to two years since I’ve spoken to the kid. According to his mother, he was the one who requested to see me. Also, watching the small one emulate her older brother is rather amusing.

They’re growing to be avid readers as well, for that I’m really really proud.

An awesome start to the day definitely

What ever happened to the young man’s heart
Swallowed by pain, as he slowly fell apart

And I’m staring down the barrel of a .45.
Swimming through the ashes of another life.
No real reason to accept the way things have changed,
Staring down the barrel of a .45

  • Twenty Things

gettingaclue 9:08 pm on January 12, 2009 Permalink | Reply

Because Marcus cheated and tagged everyone who read his blog, I kinda got sucked into this meme.

So, here it goes, 20 things that you may or may not know about me, it’s very likely you don’t.

1 ) I love mornings even though I detest sunlight.

    2 ) I find rain forests scary.

3 ) I had my first taste of eggplant two years ago, still find the texture odd today.

4 ) I find royal purple very enticing.

5 ) I’m fascinated by Sonic the Hedgehog.

6 ) I once had my left leg slashed open on a biking accident, lost a lot of blood, may have blacked out, no stitches. The scar’s still there.

7 ) I got burnt by an iron once while trying to reach for my encyclopedia, was an odd situation then.

    8 ) I can’t really remember names.

    9 ) I am an excellent procrastinator.

    10 ) I tend to misplace stuff.

11 ) However, I can remember the exact order and location in which others have placed their stuff.

    12 ) I can actually speak Mandarin.

13 ) I tend to swoon over Utada Hikaru, Angela Aki and Yuna from FFX, and girls who look like them.

14 ) In primary school, a girl ran into me once and broke her arm because she fall down the stairs, apparently it was my fault that I was leisurely strolling and watching where I was going.

15 ) I like to choreograph swrodplay in my head.

16 ) I don’t rub my eyes, they kinda hurt even if I do a gentle pass over them.

17 ) Rain works better than caffeine for me.

18 ) I like the smell of chocolate, don’t really like chocolate itself.

19 ) I’m a lover, not a fighter. But I’ve caused some serious damage to a few rather deserving people before.

20 )  I can integrate daydreams into real life seamlessly.

Okay, so that’s it. I don’t think any of this is informative, but hey, now you know. If you guys wanna do this, consider youself tagged.

    Until next time!

    Your words are like keys.

Time and time again, they open doors to new discoveries within.

Really appreciated what you’ve done for me today, perhaps one day, I shall return the favour in kind.

In two months’ time, I would have known you for a decade.

Thanks Jester, though I should really start calling you by your real name before I forget it entirely. Then again, this is the group’s usual way of addressing each other, no?

Had two things on my mind today. Cats and Gundams, as the class should know very well.

Don’t know what’s wrong with the cats ’round my place lately, they’ve been meowing at the worst of hours. Me, being the light sleeper that I am, wakes up to try to get some semblance of the situation but to no avail. This morning, I opened my window to have two rather cute cats, one ginger and one tabby just gazing at me. However, they weren’t the only ones generating the cacophony, I could hear the other cats chorusing on the ground floor as well.

How do Mobile Suits fit into the entire thing, I’m not sure, something must’ve clicked along the way.

I’m rather sleepy now, been dealing with Reality in Entertainment today and it was rather… I don’t know, I wouldn’t call it dry, but it wasn’t an exciting lesson.

Here’s a simple piece I painted in class today, no stylus, so I had to use Gareth’s mouse. I don’t remember the last time I used a mouse to do anything in Photoshop. And yes, Photoshop, because my Painter X was not working. It’s rather simple and very low-res and quite grainy. Makes me a little sad.

Could reality merely be a fabricated existance?

Could reality merely be a fabricated existance?

Alrighty, will head to bed soon, after I finish my report.

G’night folks, until the next post.

I met her at the petrol kiosk.

Though it took almost a minute of us staring at each other and fiddling with the items on the shelves before anyone said anything.

    A genuine smile.

    A warm greeting.

    Numbers exchanged.

    Fate works in mysterious ways.

One part fate, one part luck, one part thirst, two parts body language, three parts honesty and a little charm. Most importantly, be nice, not too nice, just… nice.

Since I came home, I’ve been writing non-stop.

It’s been some time since I penned something straight from my imagination, I feel all these ideas just flowing, sparking, assimilating and evolving. Makes me feel so alive.

Just got off the phone with Jester, she’s doing good. Turns out we were both writing when she called, coincidence?! I think not! Clears up any cloudy skies instantly.

Okay, am done with my report, piece, write up, organization and my spritzer with a Pocky stick.

Text not really making sense now, am only being kept awake due to caffiene and alcohol.

Meh, g’night, or rather, g’morning folks.

I was home, she was an unexpected guest that came by with Nat, a friend of my cousin apparently, to help out with the Christmas decorations.

    She was twenty-three.

I took a break from the decorating and the noise and headed to my room for a small breather. She came in as well and asked if I had a PC version of Mirror’s Edge. I found it and passed it to her.

She asked me to teach her how to play the game on her laptop, I gladly obliged and several… accidents happened, coupled with much teasing and empty threats to tell my mother what I’ve done.

But alas, I had to leave to grab something and won’t be home till morning, which also means I will never see her again.

I can’t believe how that sense of yearning could carry through past the dream and into awakening.

Now I miss someone completely imaginary, this is so sad.
